The winning combination of a background in sales and event planning, an astute radar for finding fashionable and unique items, boundless energy, infinite professionalism and keen business savvy provided the natural platform from which Michele Thistle founded Celebrity Rx, the impetus to LAUNCH Rx - a fashion marketing group based in Vancouver, Canada.

Since the inception of Celebrity Rx in 1999, Michele has earned the reputation as a "personal shopper extraordinaire". As her stellar list of clients including Halle Berry, Harrison Ford, Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher, Fox Entertainment, and Vanity Fair Magazine confirm; her unique blend of creativity, attention to detail and confidentiality have made her a trusted advisor for many in the film and entertainment industry.

In 2005, Celebrity Rx partnered with the premiere film and television industry event, The Leo Awards to produce Film & Fashion, a two-evening exhibition showcasing the talent of local and international designers. The inaugural show debuted to a sold out crowd, garnered media attention and industry accolades. Launch Rx Fashion & Film will return to the Leo Awards in 2006.

The understanding of the dynamic relationship between a designer's success and their exposure to the film and entertainment industry has set the stage for Michele's latest venture; Inside Fashion Launch. By leveraging her connections from Celebrity Rx, Michele introduces emerging designers to the global marketplace. Creating high profile media opportunities to broaden and promote the brand of emerging designers, Michele enhances the profile and outcome of television and event experiences. By combining her business acumen and a designer's talent Michele "launches" new fashions onto the world catwalk.
